Two things I’ve learned about myself from my oral presentation is that on one note, I feel like I have very strong leadership skills. I felt as if I was able to keep the project on track and moving, and the group definitely benefited from me on that. Another thing I learned about myself is that I’m not very nervous to present things to my class, and give an oral presentation. I felt very comfortable giving the presentation and didn’t feel overwhelmed or nervous. The most challenging part of the project I felt was getting pictures that I had permission to use. A lot of the pictures that I felt well covered the point of the topic, I did not have permission to use. Those that I did have permission to use I felt that they didn’t cover the topic as well. However, I did end up coming to the point where I emailed a CNN photographer, and it actually wasn’t as hard as I thought the process would be. Overall, the project really wasn’t that hard, but if I had to pick a hardest problem it would be finding pictures that I had permission to use.
